Company Statement

After almost 50 years of trading, The Caswell Family have decided to pass on LH Quarry Plant Limited (LHQP). The business is to be taken over and run by local Company, Teescraft Engineering Limited (TEL).

Nick and Phil Caswell’s father, Laurie Caswell, started the Company in 1968 A true visionary at the time Laurie was the first None Genuine Supplier of Crusher Parts in Europe and one of the first in the world and the Caswell family have developed the business into the world respected Company that it has become today.

David Green and Andrew Evans who have served L H Quarry Plant for over 30 years each and have been highly involved with the successful development of the Company, will remain as part of the new Management Structure, and will ensure its continued growth for many years to come.

Nick and Phil would like to thank all employees, both past and present, for their fantastic work ethic, commitment, and dedication over many years. Their dedication has helped LH Quarry Plant become recognised as a National and International supplier of Wear and Spare parts and Crusher Repairs to the Quarry, Mining, and Demolition industries. They, however, feel that the time is right now for “a new chapter” in the company’s history.

The acquisition of LH Quarry Plant by Teescraft will allow huge scopes for expansion in their fields of expertise and allow a better turnaround of equipment with greater accuracy and performance. The future Company will have the capability to do even larger work that is currently undertaken. Teescraft Engineering Limited are a Tier One supplier to some of the Construction Industries major companies, with CNC machining capabilities unrivalled by any of LH Quarry Plant’s competitors. With access to two UK based foundries and a large capacity workshop, LH Quarry Plant will now truly become a one stop shop for all their customer’s requirements.

David, Andrew and the rest of the team, wish Nick and Phil well in their retirement. They fully endorse and support the new ownership team and acknowledge that the hard work starts now.
